Our arcade partner, Game Saru, is returning for FanimeCon 2024 as our freeplay arcade area provider! From the latest popular Japanese racing and rhythm games to the classic candy cabinets, and even some American retro classics, we will have it all!

Arcade Area Rules

Please follow the Gaming Hall Rules and Code of Conduct. FanimeCon staff and Game Saru reserve the right to modify the rules at any time, in the interest of safety.

  • Please follow rules and regulations from Game Saru’s signage.
  • Only sealed containers are allowed in the Arcade Area.
    • If you must eat or take medication, please do so outside the area. 
  • If there is a line for an arcade game, please limit your turn to one round or session. Give everyone a chance!
  • Do not conduct any unsafe movements or actions on any arcade game, including during the tournaments.
    • Game Saru employees and FanimeCon staff reserve the right to stop anyone from conducting unsafe movements. 
  • In the event of a malfunction or non-optimal arcade cabinet, please alert the Game Saru Operations Desk or flag down a FanimeCon staffer.
    • Please DO NOT attempt to fix the problem by yourself. 

Events & Tournaments

Tournament Policy

  • Sign-ups will be available on the day of the tournament in the same room where the tournament is scheduled to take place. Please check the locations for each tournament carefully! 
  • Tournament sign-ups will begin an hour before the tournament start time.
  • Signing up for a tournament does not guarantee you a spot in the tournament. You must show up on time to participate.
  • Community tournament organizers, Game Saru, and FanimeCon staff ask all rhythm game players to be safe with their movements and actions. We reserve the right to stop any unsafe movements or actions, and remove participants in the interest of safety.
